Lego is plans to retire the popular Star Wars UCS X-Wing Starfighter kit, but there's still time to snag it from the official Lego Store. While retired sets don't disappear entirely, you'll only find it at third-party retailers, and often at a significant markup. We don't know the date its retiring, but we'd recommend flying by the store soon to ensure you don't miss out on this last batch of inventory. There's a bunch of other cool Lego Star Wars sets to check out, too, some of which are currently on sale.
Lego Star Wars X-Wing Starfighter (1,953 pieces)
$240
The Star Wars X-Wing Starfighter is a gigantic model designed for experienced builders. At just over 1,900, the completed build spans 21 inches in length (making it the largest Lego X-Wing in the entire catalog). Aside from serving as a centerpiece for your home theater or living room, the X-Wing Starfighter has a few interactive components. This includes a dial that lets you adjust the wings' position and an opening cockpit with space for a minifigure.
Speaking of minifigures, this set is bundled with both Luke Skywalker and R2-D2. There's also a display stand so you can easily show it off in your home, plus an info plaque holding additional information about the model. So while this is more of a collector's item than it is a playset, you can still recreate a few of your favorite moments from the films.

This X-Wing Starfighter is part of the Ultimate Collector Series, a collection filled with high-quality sets for experienced Lego builders. And if you're looking to pair it with another expansive set, consider the AT-ST Walker. Standing over 14.5 inches tall, the 1,513-piece set is a faithful replica of the Imperial Walker, complete with a rotating head, adjustable viewport shutters, and a two-minifigure cockpit. The UCS version of Jango Fett's Firespray-Class Starship is an even bigger build at nearly 3,000 pieces. Featuring a removable top piece, you can reveal a highly detailed interior with enough space for its two minifigures (Boba and Jango). You can also display it flat or prop it vertically on a buildable stand. It's pricey at $300, but no doubt it's one of the coolest sets in the UCS collection.
