Disney Launching A New Nightmare Before Christmas Art Book This Fall

One of the greatest debates in human history is whether Tim Burton's Nightmare Before Christmas is a Halloween movie or a Christmas movie. Regardless of whether you watch the film on All Hallow's Eve or Christmas Eve--or both--the good news is we're fastly approaching that time of year. Even better, a new official art book, Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas: The Ultimate Visual History, is launching smack dab between spooky season and Christmas time on November 4. The new hardcover tome is packed with art, interviews, and other information on the creation of the iconic stop-motion film. Preorders are available for $40 at Amazon.

Many of Time Burton's other films are also available on Blu-ray, several of which have received similar 4K Blu-ray editions in recent years. One of the latest is his other beloved stop-motion animated movie, Corpse Bride. The film celebrates its 20th anniversary this year, and you can pick the new Corpse Bride Limited Edition Steelbook 4K Blu-ray that launches on September 23 for $37. You'll want to move fast, as this edition has been very popular and gone in and out of stock since it was announced.

Some other notable releases include Beetlejuice and its new sequel, Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, both of which are available in 4K editions. You can also pick up the director's landmark takes on DC's iconic Caped Crusader, Batman (1989) and Batman Returns. If you want to grab the entire run of Batman films from this era, you can grab the Batman 4-Film Collection on 4K Blu-ray. This collection includes Batman (1989), Batman Returns, Batman Forever, and Batman and Robin. We've rounded up several more of the director's films available on Blu-ray in the list below.
