The Nintendo Switch 2 is out now, and it's been discovered that there are some compatibility issues with certain games from the original Switch, including Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
Players have reported that in online matches consisting of players on Switch and Switch 2, and one player users a Mii Fighter, matches can break, prompting them to end immediately.
A statement on Nintendo's Japanese website confirms this and also states there is a compatibility issue pertaining to Mii Fighter thumbnails failing to save correctly. An update for these issues is planned for release "soon," IGN reported.
